What it is about
I was eight when our bus collided with other buses in France. I lost my left lower leg and my mother died at the scene. At twenty-seven I started running on a sports prosthesis. In 2019, at my first World Championships, I won silver over 200 metres and bronze over 100 metres, and in 2024 I became Paralympic champion over 200 metres in Paris, in the same country where everything fell apart in 1998.
The book follows that road: the loss, the years of recovery, the first races and the coaches who taught me to sprint. It is also about trauma, about finding hope in hard times, and about the people who supported me along the way. For anyone who runs into a limit, in the body or in the mind.
