Kimberly Alkemade

Paralympic Athlete, active in the 100- and 200-meter sprint in the class T64.

At the age of 8, I lost my left lower leg due to a bus accident. This ultimately led me to decide to run with a sports prosthesis at the age of 27 and participate in my first World Sprint Championships at 29.

Now at the age of 34, I am preparing for my second Paralympic Games.

Here I tell you about my life as an athlete.
